India Web Proxy (IWP): Cheap PC Browsing Alternative with free Mtn Configuration.
India Web Proxy, IWP, is a java-based proxy tunnelling software that uses an external php proxy script to function. It's an open source java program that effectively bypasses firewall and internet censorship.IWP has a simple and flexible configuration. Before using it though, you must have php script that is still functioning (free servers)...there's a lot of it if you can run a google search. Follow these steps below to set up IWP and browse at a cheaper rate:
- Connect your USB modem to your PC.
- Then connect india web proxy.
- Download Java Runtime Environment if you don't have it on your PC. You can download from this link: http://www.java.com/getjava/.
- Then install the Java RE you just downloaded.
- Register at http://www.web-tunnel.com/registration.

- After installation, open the software and this is what you will see:
- Click on Settings on India web proxy software and enter the following: web host: www.mtnonline.com web port: 8080 Username : [Enter the username you created earlier on.] Password : [Enter the password for your username at web-tunnel.] Proxy URL : [Enter the free proxy url which you was sent to you after registration at web-tunnel.] Proxy Host : 10.199.212.2 Port: 8080 username: web password : web
- Click Start Proxy

- Go to Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Settings > Manual Configuration.
- Then put these into the boxes below it:
HTTP Proxy: 127.0.0.1
Port: 6051
SSL Proxy: 127.0.0.1
Port: 6050
To install the certificate into your Mozilla Firefox, follow these steps:
- Click Tools > Options > Advanced > Encryption > View Certificate > Authorities.
- Then click Import.
- Choose the folder where you have the IWP certificate 'ca_web-tunnel' and click Open.
- And, it will install.
