How to Chat on 2go Using Your PC (Laptop or Desktop)

I have wrote extensively on how to chat on 2go and connect with your facebook friends on mobile phones. But today, I will be talking on how to use the 2go application on your computer as if you are on phone. Although, this is not new, I was pushed to write about this when I was playing a 2go game, “WordGame” on my phone. And I thought it will be easier to play the game on PC rather than on mobile phone. So if you are also in my shoes, this is how to connect and use 2go mobile application on your computer.


We need 3 software to make this work; Java, Midp2exe and 2go application.
To begin, download Java if you do not have already, at http://www.java.com and then install it.
Then download midp2exe at http://kwyshell.myweb.hinet.net  or Click here and install.
Next, download 2go. You can use Opera Browser to do this so as to get the correct file. You can download Opera Browser here if you do not have one. To begin, download 2go Update 1.1 for Nokia 7650. Then open the .jad file with Notepad and copy the URL ending with ***.jar. Paste the link in Opera and download the 2go application.
Then place all the downloaded files (MIDP2EXE and 2go) in 1 folder. Rename the jar file to 2go.jar. Then create a Shortcut of MIDP2EXE on the Desktop and add the following to the target box after the “:

-jar 2go.jar -out 2go.exe

Click OK
Next, double-click the Midp2exe and a new 2go icon will be created.
Double-click this new 2go icon and the 2go application will open. Then start using it.
That is it. You can now begin to enjoy the 2go mobile application on your laptop or desktop.
